Welcome to Old Cicestrians.com
Welcome to the Old Cicestrians’ Website. Yes, the society has at last moved into the 21st century and has its own website, www.oldcicestrians.com.
We hope that you will all use this facility, and encourage other members and non-members to do the same.
In the weeks and months following the live date, you will find an ever increasing number of interesting articles and old school photographs appearing in the archived material, that will hopefully continue to grow with the passage of time but more importantly from material you send in to us.
I hope that you will use the site to contact former classmates and friends and also organise reunions of your friends through the website vehicle. Make sure that when you have organised any events to send details to admin@oldcicestrians.com in order that they can be included on the website not only to enhance support for your event but to encourage others to do the same.
All the events of the Society will be posted on the website with relevant information as to how you can participate.
We have also created a mechanism whereby, should you wish, you can help current students in choosing their careers by signing up to the email mentoring aspect on the website.
I cannot let the opportunity pass without expressing a huge ‘Thanks ‘ to our Vice–President, John Richards, who has put in a tremendous amount of time in gathering all the information required to specify the design, and to our Web Designer, Dan Brown, who has created this site which I am sure you will agree has the style and quality we would want to reflect our association with the school.
Also John has added additional information on the News section, that will give you details on how to get the best from the site, please read these and let John know about any difficulties you may encounter.
Finally, may I encourage you all to use your site as much as possible and I hope you have many hours of fun contacting old friends.
Regards,
Martin McGranaghan
President
